We still haven’t seen any leaked Argentina shirt for the World Cup, plus we don’t know yet if they will qualify for the tournament which will be held in South Africa. So there we have some shirts that were designed with Adidas 09/10 templates.

    Love the last one! But matches more with the Rugby team than with the football. And the third remembers me the home kit of Uruguay.

    Nice work Dokieh!

  2. Devo says:

    I mean the second match more with the Rugby team than with the football

    Argentina home needs stripes, hoops although they look nice for the rugby team just poop all over a very long tradition as being one of the only national teams in the world to wear them.

    They are all clean, still would be nicer to see some more original designs which I am sure you’re capable of, as adidas certainly won’t be using those for WC teams.

    @Devo:

    Yeah, the 2nd one is based on the ‘Pumas’ shirt. I love that shirt and I’ve always wanted to see horizontal stripes on the football kit, like on the rugby one.

    I know the 2nd one reminds you of the Uruguay kit, but you shouldn’t forget that light blue is also an important color in the Argentinian flag 😛 I tried to avoid that comparision by setting white details in this one, instead of black ones (like Uruguay’s squad have in their home shirt).

    @Curswine:

    I get your point. Though, I think some of these designs are original, since we’ve never seen Argentina’s players wearing a black or a full light blue shirt (at least not in the last 20 or 30 years).

    Thanks for your comments guys.

    interesting that you use a template that was designed on another site, and the psd made freely available, yet you choose not to put a link to that site into your links area. to thank the original creators who input all the work for you to claim the credit

    disrespectful, rude and ignorant

    oh btw the link is http://www.fmglive.com

  6. curswine says:

    That’s the danger of releasing templates to the public, if you think this is disrespectful, rude and ignorant, then I suggest you don’t visit http://www.footballshirtculture.com/football-kit-design/fantasy-kit-design/ as they bastardize all the templates there and give no credit to the original template makers.

    @dioxide:

    I got those templates on Football Shirt Culture. I have their links on my blogroll, even their feed so my visitors can keep informed about their new posts. I got the templates there, so I kind of “returned the favor” by placing their links in a good position in the sidebar.

    I agree with Curswine. What’s the point on blaming me when you have thousands of people using those templates in a website which MAKES MONEY with their visits, which even has a shirts shop?

    That’s the difference. This blog was created just for fun – sometimes, when I’m bored, I like designing shirts like these ones. At some point I thought it could be nice reading opinions from other shirt-lovers and it could even make me improve. That’s the point of this website. What’s disrespectful?

    By the way, are you from FMGLIVE? If you’re, I can place your link in the sidebar whenever you want.
